As Argo moves into its final stage of construction, we wanted to provide an update on the project’s progress and outline the steps that will take place as we prepare for settlement.
Our team is working closely with consultants and authorities to ensure the completion process is carefully coordinated, and we will continue to keep you informed as key milestones are reached over the coming months.
Project Update
Construction at Argo continues to progress well and remains on track, despite experiencing more than 50 days of rain delays during the course of the build.
The project is now entering its final stage, with internal finishing works progressing throughout the building while external works are in the last phase. The team is also undertaking final services testing and commissioning as we move closer to completion.
These final stages are an important part of preparing the building for certification and handover.

Preparing for Settlement
Construction is currently anticipated to be completed in July 2026.
Following completion, the required documentation will be submitted to Fire & Rescue NSW to obtain the building’s Final Fire Safety Certificate. Once this certification is received, the project can then obtain its Occupation Certificate, confirming the building is ready for occupation.
After the Occupation Certificate is issued, the strata plan will be registered, formally creating the individual apartment lots and allowing the settlement process to commence.
Based on the current program, settlements are expected to occur across August and September.
Preparing for Valuations and Inspections
As we approach these final stages, you will begin preparing for the final steps prior to settlement, including bank valuations and pre-settlement inspections.
These arrangements will be coordinated through your selling agent, who will assist with valuation bookings, pre-settlement inspection appointments and the coordination of handover packs and key collection.
As part of the settlement process, most lenders will require a valuation of the property. This is a standard step undertaken shortly before settlement and will be coordinated through your selling agent once valuation inspections commence.
We will provide advance notice before these stages begin so you have sufficient time to make the necessary arrangements with your agent, lender and solicitor.
What You Need To Do Now
At this stage, no action is required from you.
As the project progresses toward completion, we will provide advance notice before each stage of the settlement process begins. This will include when valuation bookings commence, when pre-settlement inspections will be scheduled, and when settlement notices are expected to be issued.
As we approach completion, our team remains focused on delivering Argo to the high standard originally envisioned for the project. Final detailing, finishes and landscaping are being carefully completed to ensure the building reflects the quality and design intent that purchasers expect.
We look forward to welcoming residents and seeing the Argo community come to life in the months ahead.
Should you have any inquiries or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact your agent.
Best regards,
The CBD Core Team
